Amber Brown is Not a Crayon

Third-grader Amber Brown has just received some bad news: Her best friend Justin is moving away. What makes things even worse is that Justin doesn't want to talk to her about how he feels about the move. When Justin throws away the prized chewing-gum ball that he and Amber have been working on for a year and a half, Amber is sure that's the end of their friendship. She and Justin stop speaking.
